category 1 - EN 420 - the main hygiene risk standard that determines whether gloves are harmful to health.
Category 2 - EN 388 - under the icon we can always find numbers from 0 to 5, indicates the resistance of the glove to friction, for cuts, tears, punctures, also indicates the letter A to F cut resistance according to EN ISO, where the letter F indicates the highest possible resistance. Finally, there is impact protection, which indicates whether a certain type of glove has Passed (P) and Failed (unmarked) tests. If there is an X under the icon, it means that the test was not performed or is not relevant.
Category 3 - EN 374 - This standard specifies chemical protection, which is further divided into:
Basic protection - penetration resistant gloves (penetration)
Specific protection - penetration resistant gloves, permeability tests The Po icon is a set of letters, where each letter indicates a specific chemical to which the glove is resistant. Up to 18 tested chemicals can be separated.
